Tommy Fleming: The Return

Tommy

SUN 3RD OCT, 2010

2:00pm

Following a sell-out tour of Australia in 2009, one of Ireland's most loved exports, Tommy Fleming, is set for a triumphant return when he performs at the West Gippsland Arts Centre in October.

Since leaving our shores in May last year, Tommy has continued to break records and blow audiences away in Ireland and across the globe.  In December 2009, Tommy played in the world-renowned Knock Basilica to a sellout crowd of 5000 people and is the only artist to have successfully sold out this venue twice.

Tommy's Christmas album was a huge success making the Top 10 charts in both CD and DVD charts.  Tommy is currently touring a sold-out nationwide series of shows in Ireland to be followed by concert dates throughout England in April.  Tommy will also be recording a new album during the European summer before heading down under for his highly anticipated return in October this year.

To say that Tommy is excited about his second Australian tour is a major understatement: "I am really looking forward to meeting all of my Aussie fans again as they are so loyal and have all kept in touch through email and Facebook.  I can't wait to return to Australia in October and I look forward to spending more and more time in Australia in the coming years.  Thanks to all my fans for making this possible.  Australia really feels like home away from home".
